Maintenance

Maintenance

ISASTUR performs maintenance on high- and low-voltage mechanical and electrical systems for industrial facilities in sectors as diverse as chemicals, steel, metallurgy, glass, food, water, and mining.

It also performs operation and maintenance of renewable energy generation facilities, such as photovoltaic plants and wind farms.

Mechanical Maintenance

We manage all aspects of maintenance aimed at ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of facilities (corrective, preventive, and comprehensive maintenance of industrial plants), providing:

  • Mechanical maintenance of facilities, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
  • Execution of scheduled shutdowns of industrial facilities and equipment.
  • Inspection, overhaul, and maintenance of rotating equipment.
  • Repairs, revamps, and modifications of industrial facilities and equipment.
  • Comprehensive maintenance of energy and industrial infrastructure.
  • Development and implementation of industrial maintenance programs.
  • Management and execution of major overhauls during scheduled plant shutdowns.
  • Execution of special operations.

Maintenance of Electrical and High-Voltage Installations

  • Power transformers, instrument transformers, protective relays, circuit breakers, busbars, power cables, grounding systems, disconnect switches, automatic valves, measuring equipment, etc.
  • Mandatory maintenance required by Royal Decree 3275/1982, dated November 12 (Regulations on Technical Conditions and Safety Guarantees for Power Plants, Substations, and Transformer Stations).
  • Live maintenance of disconnect switches using the remote method (up to 132 kV).
  • Measurement of step and contact voltages (5th-generation injection equipment and equipment rated up to 100 A).
  • Infrared thermography.
  • Power quality, energy measurements, and fault analysis in high- and low-voltage networks (harmonic and consumption measurements).
  • SF6 gas analysis using gas spectrometry. Detection and location of SF6 gas leaks.
  • Maintenance of dielectric fluids (analysis, regeneration, replacement, etc.)
  • Short-circuit studies and protection selectivity analysis for high- and low-voltage systems.
  • Testing of low-voltage protection systems.
  • Development of maintenance plans for electrical installations.
  • Consulting on electrical regulations and bringing installations into compliance with electrical regulations.
  • 24-hour, 7-day-a-week electrical on-call service.

Operation and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Installations

ISASTUR offers the following services for the management of plant maintenance and operation:

  • Advice and representation for plant owners on all technical matters affecting plant operations.
  • O&M oversight, including assistance aimed at improving the plant’s technical and economic performance.
  • Evaluation of performance guarantees and monitoring of guaranteed values.
  • Technical and specialized consulting and assessment of potential improvements to be implemented.
  • Monitoring of the plant’s production and billing, detecting any issues. Advice in the event of incidents, anomalies, and inspections.
  • Design and implementation of monitoring and/or control systems that provide real-time operational data, detect alarms, and enable rapid and effective action.
  • Supervision and management of maintenance work—both preventive and corrective—to minimize incidents and energy losses and optimize performance, ensuring compliance with established parameters and objectives.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports on production, billing, and incidents. Annual reports for the plants, as well as other documents required by current regulations.
  • Management of service contracts (O&M, security, etc.) and claims management.
  • Management of insurance policies and claims.
  • On-site technical support.
