Since the beginning of the business in 1978, one of ISASTUR's main activities has been designing, building and commissioning indoor and outdoor high and very high transformer substations up to 800 kV, in all their varieties (conventional, GIS, hybrid, ...).
As a key contractor for Red Electrica de España when it comes to designing and building transmission substations, ISASTUR has also built substations for transmission and distribution companies in the UK, Romania, Algeria, Morocco, Chile, Uruguay and Venezuela. We also have extensive experience with private customers, designing and building substations related to renewable energy projects, power plants and industrial plants, most based on "turnkey" agreements.
