6. Qualifications for Jobs Involving Electrical Hazards
Given the importance of this hazard in the activities of some of the Companies belonging to the ISASTUR Group, the Firm possesses specialised authorised personnel to carry out and/or supervise certain tasks involving an electrical hazard.
Several types of qualifications have been defined following the guidelines set out by Spanish Royal Decree 614/01 regarding minimum Health and Safety Protection regulations for workers against electrical hazards, as well as a series of minimum requirements to obtain these qualifications. All this is summarised in the following chart.
The Organisation thus aims to fulfil a twofold objective:
- Apply current legislation to the activities it carries out, in particular Spanish Royal Decree 614/01.
- Ensure that only duly trained and qualified personnel carry out especially hazardous tasks resulting from the presence of electrical hazards.
The following table present a summary of the qualifications for existing jobs involving electrical hazards, the jobs these qualify the person concerned to carry out and the requirements to obtain said qualifications.
