Revised Edition 2010

Organization and Management of Occupational Risk Prevention

5. Implanting the Risk Prevention Plan

5.3. Emergencies

The possible situations of emergency that may affect the workers of the Firm or any person accessing our facilities are planned, implanted and revised on a periodic basis.

5.4. Health monitoring

The Firm informs the approved Risk Prevention Service as to the risks that workers are exposed to and said external Risk Prevention Service carries out the annual planning of Health Monitoring activities, medical check-ups and the Annual Report, sending said information to the Firm.

Workers are informed by the Firm itself of the voluntary nature of medical check-ups, except in those cases contemplated by legislation in which said examinations are mandatory.

5.5. Documentation

The documentary system is composed, among other documents, of the following: technical procedures and instructions contained in corporative Manuals, templates, Works Safety and Instruction Manual, document Publisher (Prevention section).

The archiving and register of documents belonging to the Occupational Risk Prevention System is carried out in accordance with Company procedures.

Works Procedures may be highlighted as being fundamental to the Risk Prevention System, in which each task to be carried out by staff is analysed, indicating its hazards and the respective preventive and protection measures to apply. Thus, the application of the Works Procedures, both our own (which we call Technical Instructions) and those of our clients (when we work at their facilities), together with the Works Instructions included in the present manual constitute a fundamental tool to eliminate or, failing that, control the risks that workers are exposed to.
