Environmental Management

2. Environmental Aspects to be taken into account on jobs

During jobs, numerous tasks are carried out that directly or indirectly affect the environment, either via emissions into the atmosphere, discharges or waste generation.

The main impact we provoke is the production of waste, which may be hazardous or non-hazardous.

Legislation obliges us to separate waste by types so as to be able to treat them appropriately, favouring their recycling and reducing the final volume of them all.

At the Waste Collection Point we install on all sites, we provide bins and areas for sorting these different types of waste:

  • Hazardous waste:
    Brown bins:
    • Paint, varnishes, adhesives, solvents, etc.
    • Empty tins of paint, varnishes, adhesives, solvents, etc.
    • Used oils.
    • Cloths, cottons, clothing impregnated with oil, paint and other hazardous substances.
    • Batteries.
  • Non-hazardous waste:
    Green bins:
    • Municipal waste (food, plastics, polystyrene [Porexpan], beverages, etc.).
    Blue bins:
    • Paper and cardboard.
    Separately equipped areas for:
    • Wood.
    • Scrap.
    • Wire clippings.
