3. Conditions for Installing and Using the Waste Collection Point

When installing and maintaining the Waste Collection Point, the following has to be taken into account:

  • The available space must be sufficient for all the foreseeable waste generated.
  • The bins must be kept in good order, with a specific location for each one, and are always to be kept in the same place.
  • The stakes that delimit the collection areas must be firmly fixed and the striped markings around them, clearly visible.
  • There is a place for each type of waste and each waste must be kept in its place.
  • The spaces between the bins and the areas where they are located must be clean, without waste scattered around and must allow transit and easy access.
  • The bins and the areas where they are located must be perfectly labelled, with the letter corresponding to the type of waste that the bin contains both visible and legible.
  • The ISASTUR Group Waste Collection Point must be situated in a special area that is plainly visible.
  • If a bin is full, it must be emptied in the place provided for this purpose (delivery to the authorised waste manager or place specified by the client) and then returned to its position at the Waste Collection Point. If it cannot be emptied at that moment, another empty bin is to be provided next to it. The bin must not be overfilled with waste at any time whatsoever.
  • Bin lids must be kept shut.
  • Whenever possible, waste is to be deposited in such a way that it occupies the least volume possible (paper and cardboard folded, wooden packaging disassembled, etc.).
